About Dr. Emily Ngubia Kessé

Emily is a creative academic who specializes in designing concepts that are relevant to society and executable in the real world. Having developed transdiciplinary theoretical methodologies for reconciling empirical work in the neurosciences with discourse analytic methods in Gender Studies, Emily thrives in interdisciplinary settings; synthesizing and adapting knowledge to different contexts.
Emily completed her doctorate studies at the Charité University School of Medicine of the Humboldt University in Berlin.
Her thesis addressed the underrepresentation of women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Subjects.
She has extensively published articles relating to social inequity and is a highly coveted speaker and diversity trainer.
She is also co-founder of two successful nonprofit organizations that focus on knowledge transfer and making science and technology solutions relevant to social challenges.
